OPINION: ILLEGAL EMPLOYMENT PRACTICE OR HOW WE BECAME A GREAT NATION
Would it be a stretch of linear-logic to assume that Governor Janet Napolitano, of Arizona, a Democrat, wishes ‘slavery’ returned to her state? “Outrageous,” you say? However, wait for a moment as the pulse returns to normal, and we will use comparison contrast to show the bottom line. It is a fact that Governor Napolitano, in June 2007 reluctantly signed a (public ballot approved) law that punishes first-time violators who knowingly hire undocumented (illegal immigrant) workers. The penalty is a 10-day suspension of their Arizona business licenses. Second offences would incur denial of licenses.
Where does ‘slavery’ come into this argument regarding business employment practices? “Right smack into the soup,” I say. Let us start with Napolitano’s disinclination to sign the order, as in her own words-- saying it will bring the “death penalty” to business. We are speaking directly about low wages given to workers illegally residing in Arizona. “How low are the wages?” one might ask. “Anywhere from nothing but food-and-shelter, to lower-than-most U. S. citizen’s and union-wages, is the answer. Wow, you mean to say that if an employer could get labor, desperate to work for food and shelter, he could have a greater advantage over his competitor. “Yes.” Gee, that appears to be “similar to slavery, only lacking the body-ownership-deed,” would you say?
I wonder at what point in the range scale of pay, (from shelter to very low wage) does Governor Janet Napolitano believe, will save Arizona from: the death of business, or allow it to flourish? Does she understand it displaces U.S. citizens from employment? Did Governor Napolitano ever hear of child labor abuse in this and any country throughout human history? Did the Governor ever learn any U.S. American labor history and how solving abuse by law eventually caused honorable solutions to fill the gap? Is Governor Janet Napolitano supporting the alien hiding in fear and subjugation or enjoying the donation from an Arizona business clique? Is the cost of ballot re-count from unchallenged illegal voters a future dream of the Democratic Party or must they rely solely on uneducated children from a broken public education system, later to be harvested to keep them in elite control? Does illiteracy in English help her and the Democratic Party?
If U. S. Industry is given the legal, but tyrannical freedom to exercise slavery practices, once again they would surely use it. Simple economic practice chooses lowest ‘operating expenses,’ slavery serves it best. Indeed, U.S. business outsourcing to nations not having labor laws enjoy many outsourced labor abuse as well. Throughout the progress of human equality and our oversight into: child labor, dangerous conditions, long-workdays, and survival- pay abuse, we in America have developed rules of law and decent living conditions for our citizens. This progress insures our greatest strength of allegiance when we maintain a resolve to do right and honorable acts for our citizenry. This national unity is the shining light that only great American statesmen speak of today. It is the real ‘Voice of America’ that other fortunate nations may learn to emulate. Our message must not be habitual dependency on American taxpayers. Let the imperfections of other nations be solved by the people of those nations. For example, the mentality of Mexican government officials; has been conditioned over many generations to believe in the unending dependence on direct supplementary economics from the American citizen, in social welfare for millions of their Mexican national citizens residing here.
Let us now compare the argument for repeal of this Arizona law. In a second litigation try, business coalition lawyers, opposed to the employer sanctions, say it is unconstitutional, sighting abuse by people making malicious anonymous complaints. Hmm, who are the abusers, and to whom are they complaining? This smells like an opportunity for the ACLU to make some more side-bet cash from unsuspecting donors once again. I believe “Malicious anonymous” complainers are—ANONYMOUS! They are unlike the identifiable legal U.S. citizen voters of Arizona that cast ballots--for the law.
The opposing business lawyers warn that Arizona will be less competitive nationally. Does that mean Arizona, which will one day be lawful, and honor immigration law, be penalized by other states that operate under a corruption or denial of law? Will the competing states in the range of; food-and-shelter-wage, to lower-than-normal wages; and thus attracts national business, welcome the nation’s unlawful habit? On the other hand—will Arizona and its U.S. Citizens (and a better governor) lead the nation, in once again curing an error long overdue? Will contracts awarded from the federal government, order employees of all states be documented workers? Will they validate contracted employer’s records? Will U.S. Unions demand and monitor legal documentation as well? We did it in WW2. Why not do it when millions of illegal aliens are here today?
Many citizens rightly believe America became great because we had a Bill of Rights, unique to the rest of the world. That is true. However, Constitutional students take note: There are two; profound Constitutional Articles that made us a world power unlike any other.
Article 10 Section 1, Powers Prohibited of States deals with legislative orders that no State shall make separate treaties, alliances, grant Letters of Marques, (prohibit exclusive foreign deals not favoring the United States) nor impose Interstate taxes and Port tariffs, for or against any state. Thus, sea and river port states could not hold commercial power over interior states. The common unification of states’ borders (and subsequently our common English language) was a cohesive power that the rest of the world lacked. This unity of border sanctuary and common language gave us an advantage.
Article 2 Section 2, gives the President the power as the Commander in Chief of the military. It gives the president the exclusive executive power to create a foreign treaty. The president is the national voice of the states and its US citizenry to all other nations.
Both Articles comprise the strongest bulwark of national unification. Other Articles and Sections touch on aspects to protect us from domestic and foreign intrigue that would divide this unique united people. Look for them and learn.
Thank you citizens of Arizona.
